Thread: Mōtū/Raukumara hunting block

potentially a long shot but does anyone know anything about a private hunting block i think around east cape area? maybe around Mōtū/Raukumara area. ive never been there but i remember i found it on the internet a few years ago. it was a private or maori owned block you could book in and hunt for day or weekend or week. it had a cabin of sorts that was reasonably off grid and basic. i think it was a bit of a rough gravel road to get into aswell. not alot of info sorry but buggered if i can find anything about it anymore??????

cheers mate, this block was definetly a drive in block. at the time i was reading about it they recommend 4wd access only due to a couple of slips on the road in.

there is paparangi which im pretty sure is on the old motu rd.
