    Makahu Road closed?

    Hi guys, can anyone confirm if Makahu Road is closed at the ford?

    On Monday they were working on the drop outs on the Taihape Road just on the Napier side of Castle Rocks Road. The roads are negotiable but there is a lot of repair work needed. Makahu Saddle is a DoC road so it is anyone's guess when it will be usable again.
    GPM.
    PS Got those roads muddled. Makahu Road to the hot springs and Kaweka road to Makahu Saddle. Both closed I imagine.
