    Makaroa river

    Looking at going into Makaroa river in the near future, with the rivers being low is it possible to follow the river up from Davis flat or is it better to follow the track up at over ?

    Your better to stick to the track very gorgey for a couple of kms above Davis flat

    Yeah it is. But up the makarora once past the gorge there are nice river flats that you can make good time up
