If it was cheap enough anywhere I guess but ferry costs and travel time would mean it would need to be very cheap or possibly a NI species we dont have here.Quote:

My cousin brought a freezer beast back from Wellington to CHCH, all cut up frozen. He got some dry ice and chucked the meat and dry ice in the back of his ute.

Check out Doughboy safaris in Murch they do meat hunts, no sure if they have a season or not
I have taken west coast white bait and NZ mutton birds to Mongolia via Christchurch. Getting some deer meat from ni to si pice of piss.
If you road trip, in the back.
If you fly, get brads to sort the breaking down and bagging. Freeze it. Into chilly bin. Fill the gaps with scrambled up news paper. NZ courier or others, job done.
Dry ice, yes a great thing. However if you fill a bigger (50 litre plus) with a block of meat - frozen, it will be fine for a day or 2. Mid summer maybe a risk that you will have to eat the outer bags......
Yep they are on my radar too but by the sounds of it talking on the phone its more of a wander up the paddock,bang,job done outfit where we are more looking for a weekend away kinda thing....it could happen tho nothing set in stone yet.Quote:

Have a blue 30? Litre chilly bin from h&f that keeps meat frozen 3 days really impressed, know they do big suckers as well
