Thread: Meathunt

Hi there,

At the moment my parents, who live in Holland, are over for the holidays. I had a trip planned to a private block for my old man to try to get him his first deer, but just found out that this plan fell through. This means I'm now looking for a place on the North Island where we can go for a paid meathunt somewhere in the next 3 or 4 days. Probably a long shot, but I've been reading quite a bit on this forum and thought I might as well post it and see what happens. Hopefully somebody knows of a place. Thanks!

Thanks for your reply. Not too fit, that's why I think a private block might be the better pick.

Give muddy waters hunting a call. Hamish will look after your old man. He gets all sorts of people come through anf they always get one.

He has a nice 7mm 08 he can use.

Thought it'd be good to let you know that we had a great day with Hamish. I've contacted him and he arranged for us to come over the next day and he got my dad a deer and i got to shoot one for the freezer as well.
