    Mingiuni

Has any one been down river rd in mingiuni hunting? If so is it safe to park at end of rd for few days hunting? Over Xmas break?
    Thanks

Should be ok. There will probably plenty of people around over xmas anyway.. Just leave nothing in the car. I have never had anything tampered with down there but have never had anything worth breaking into parked there.

Never had an issue myself. Just park in the open. There should be enough traffic over that period that it would be unlikely to get touched. As above don’t tempt anyone into some xmass shopping by leaving valuables in the car…..

It should be OK as there will be a lot of traffic through there over that period.

I wouldnt risk it personally mate. I get dropped off and park my wagon just before minginui at the whirinaki holiday place . If you pop in there and have a yarn he can drop you up to the track if thats where you want to go and leave your car at his place. We usually flick him $20-$40 depending on distance.
I have camped just before the car park on horse shoe corner and some locals tried to rip us off and its getting no better down there unfortunately . You may be fine but the amount of broken glass in the car park tells a story. Good luck on your hunt mate you heading up the track?

Contact number if you want to give him a bell 07 3663235
