Thread: Missing Tramper in Pureora North.

I saw this pop up on my FB feed today. With the Roar starting, and more than likely hunters out this long weekend, I'd hate to hear a story of a NZSAR member being miss identified in the North Block.
Hopefully the elderly tramper is safe in a hut or hunters shelter. Take care out there people.

I was trying to figure where that is but can’t read any words. Looks a bit like Ngaroma across from HQ. Not a block for trampers though.

pukekohe tramping club sorting a trapline , i read .... apparently teams from all over in the search so best to avoid the area so they can do what they do best

Saw their first post on Thursday about it but couldn't ask where, original post just said 'Pureora Forest'

Hope they're found soon but I'd say chances are getting fairly slim of a good outcome
