normally dont believe a single word put out by Stuff, but this article is bang on.
The lack of detailed monitoring pre & post 1080 is farkin crime. OSPRI & DOC or any other pseudo govt agency that has the "right" (sorry Taxinda ... that should say "privilege" shouldn't it) to spread highly toxic non specific poison all over the place should have a statutory requirement to provide evidence and data that is made available to the public & scientifically peer reviewed before they are allowed to run the next 1080 operation.

The sooner people accept that deer are on the hit list the better. They aint got the balls to come out and say it,one day they will.

Private deer wont be safe either.

Yes. But in this case perhaps taxinda and co' are short of $$. They would do NZ a service if they abandoned 1080 and used trapping 99%.
