It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

I did reply to another chap a few posts ago about this very thing, sorry to tell you but you may never get those horns off now.
You should have left the skull out side and when the tissues in the horns rotted off the cores, hold your breath and slide off the horns,then boil and peroxide the skull and allow the horns to dry out, then epoxy horns back on to cores.
Call a taxidermist and see if there is any thing you can do,they are very helpfull.
