Off to Roxburgh tomorrow, anyone know what the road up Mt Benger is like?
Is it achievable in a bog standard Ranger?
Not sure how long we will be there but would like to give it a crack if time allows.

Happy Jack.
Been there about two years ago, long drive and steep in places ( Low-1st in the Brumby!).
Low animal numbers, we (Mrs Finnwolf & I) bumped into another hunter who also had no luck.

Yup, lots of gates. All good on the way up, missed a turn on the way down once and ended up a bit off piste in a farm paddock. Small area, but a couple of options to hunt. Easy enough in a dmax with crap AT tyres. Once you get into the block and the track flattens out it can get a bit muddy, depending on the traffic. If you almost drive through the block, you can follow a track to the left down the valley to the bush part of the block. Seen the odd deer there and knocked one over as well. Good luck!
Thanks might not be here long enough now. But good to know.
