    My First Hunt

My first hunt down near Ranfurly went well, heaps of goats and hares, and two turkeys. Thanks Jeremy and Adam for giving me the chance

    Well done Cam
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

Its a .22 Savage, one of the cheapies from Gun City. I'm still a student, so can't really afford much more than the cheapest. It seems to shoot alright, although couldn't get it sighted in properly, was always grouping to the bottom right of the target. Bought it on Thursday, and had a few notches on it by Sunday

I had no idea until that day, and for the next two days during which there was no running water to wash with, meaning I smelt like goat, my rifle smelt like goat, and my clothes smelt like goat.
