    My New Hunting Companion

Well...I bucked up, sold the wife's wedding ring, let the dogs starve, and had my home foreclosed on...

BUT! I got it anyway, My Dream Drilling...

This is why I am selling some guns now. It's an unfired as-new Simson Mdl 95 in 16/70mm and 7X65R with a new Zeiss Diatal/ZM 6X42 MC in a swing mount.

This model drilling has a top tang safety and the rifle barrel selector in front of the safety. No more arthritic thumb trying to work the Greener side safety.

For $100.00 more the seller threw in a solid Gbr. Adamy 16ga SXS.

It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms

    The Gbr. Adamy SXS 16ga...

It had evidently been used as a slug gun, judging from the claw mount bases.

I'll be going after whitetail, elk, chuckar, pheasant, Bobwhite quail, and hopefully mule deer with it this fall.

SORRY IF I POSTED IN THE WRONG CATEGORY...

How's the missus and dog fairing after your awesome purchase?

Have they adjusted well to homelessness?

    Cheers

I had a friend who was a Cpt in the British armoured corp who told me that when they entered a german town during WW11, the first thing they did after shooting all the SS chappies, was haul all firearms out of the houses, lay them on the kerb and run their tank over them. I often wondered how many pieces of art like yours were amongst them. I imagine Patton would have scored a few before they terminated him?????

Living out of the back of my PU truck isn't all that bad. The dogs keep us warm.
