    National Park Hunt 2013

    Hi All

I purchased myself a Gopro for fishing and diving in Northland this year. I ended up taking it for a hunt in June 2013 at National Park for the first time and this was the result. I am not Peter Jackson but I hope I can get better at this. Anyway I was in the bush doing the trying to improve on my bush stalking and I heard a bit of noise off to my right and the noise kept coming my way and a nice hind popped out in front of me.

The Gopro was on my head and the angle was not good. I now have a gun mount and the next one should get better.

I believe its better than nothing. ?

    Here is the link.

    Cheers Johno

    Cool, well done.

I've tried this lots of times and mostly got rubbish footage or none at all when I turn it off by mistake (thinking I'm turning it on) or it happens too quickly. The rifle mount is the berries as it makes it look even more ''video game'' looking.

    Well done.

I found years ago duct taping a bloody huge vcr tape camera to my helmet it takes a few goes to get the angle right but when you do you can get some good footage.

Sweet vid mate. Good shot of the deer popping around the tree, and the shot. Wicked.
