Too true. Those old injuries ( rugby for me ) that you brushed off when you were younger certainly do come back with vengeance as you age. My left knee gives me grief for a few days after a big walk sometimes.

yip Im to old and ornary to put up with crap anymore...life is just too short.
Ive seen crap happen to good people and seen young folks go down wrong path and stuff up lifes best chances...worked with fcukwits n arseholes ,had numerous mongrels for boss's and some really good ones...so I tend to be a tad cynical now....
as young man I believed what people told me....a mans word is his bond is one of lifes mottos after all....oh boy has that one kicked my bum a few times....HATE liars...really hate the whole idea of lieing,it just makes every damn thing so hard.
but life is good,wife has cracked whip today...not only killed n dressed 3 sheep,we have recovered our wire netting and warratah standards from flooded reserves,body is tad sore now.
