    NECK SHOT 220yds.

    I like my 200yd zero,I use to just shoot the sholders out,308 splat,not much left to save.But with a nice neck shot i get 2 whole sholders to cook up.Just gota get deer to keep his neck still for 2 seconds.Had some of his back steak tonight,bloody buitifull.

    Well done.
    It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
    What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

    Well done. Had a luck shot the other day. Tried to hit it in the neck, but ended up hitting it smack on top of the head.

    Where in the neck did you hit it? Was it where you intended?
    I know a lot but it seems less every day...

    About half way down neck,i wait till his neck is near vertical.3inch exit hole on under side of neck in photo.Was going to take a photo,but had trouble with photo motion app thingy on my phone.My zero at 200yds is very good and this is the third neck shot deer in the last few weeks.

    Just call out to them when you are ready to shoot. "hey" they will hold statue still. That is my dad and my typical shot routine. Top third of neck or forehead. Trying to shoot them feeding in the neck or head just leads to missed deer

    I do,just give the bonnet of the truck a light knock with my left knuckle.They look up and stair,bang flop.They cant see you in the dark 200yds away.

    You're getting old Grant a 200 yard shot with the old mossy 308 was anywhere in the eye.

    Nice work, no mucking around trying to trim off damaged meat with the neck shot either. My preferred shot if I can
