    base of neck for me but out past two hundred I go vital.

    I've never neckshot, always gone for the vitals, but I'm also thinking about it, and have talked to various wise heads.

    The best of their advice has been :
    1) You have to place accurately to bring it down
    2) If you CAN'T place very accurately, go for the Vitals .. unless you feel like running around the hills chasing a wounded animal

    So it sounds like unless you've got real faith in your accuracy don't attempt this.

    I wont be yet.

    Yeah thats what i've got out of it too. Might have to practise on some goats until i'm totally confident with shot placement.
    Not that I want to maime a goat but it doesnt taste quite as good so not risking it on bambi running off cause I missed just yet haha.

    does your missus know that you're going to practice on goats ??

    You might find you're better off practicing on girls .. I hear Rushy might have a coupla 20 year olds that are now surplus to requirements

    Yeah Phil can have em.....20 year olds have no skills yet. Dirty 30's is where its at!!

    Tim they both got jobs as an au pair. In fact one (the more well endowed) got a job as an au whata pair.

    What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
    Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
    Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
    Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
    Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
    Rule 5: Check your firing zone
    Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
    Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms
