Thread: New addition to the frozen zoo

Went out yesterday intending to stay overnight but instead at 11am I found this bloke on a patch of grass in the sun - the shot was only 10 metres. I spooked a decent sized adult ( couldn’t tell if it was a stag that had shed or a hind ) and was pretty gutted till I carried this guy up the hillside and realised the other one would have meant two trips due to the steepness. He’s in my frozen zoo ( freezer) now .



Looking forward to taking my son there and seeing if he can get his first deer , there must be a decent stag in the area because I found this cast last trip . Hopefully we catch up during next years roar.
