There is not much point upgrading if you haven't been taught how to sharpen a knife first you will still end up with a blunt knife. The Bahcos respond to a medium steel if you know what to do - might need to finish with a couple of light strokes away from you to remove the burr as they are softish. A $20 flat diamond sharpener might be better.
First step: go to the local Butcher or homekill man for some training ( Mickey Ducks post wasn't there when I started writing mine, so sorry for repetition )
