New to Nelson, keen for a hunt

Hi guys, a young mate of mine has just relocated down to Nelson (following his girlfriends new job), and hes keen to get into the hills down there and chase the deer.

I have hunted with him a few times now, a bit of small game and a few deer trips. He is very safe and sure knows how to handle a firearm, and is a pretty good shot.

Hes a bloody good young fella, i have known him for about 5 years now, and i always enjoyed a trip with him into the hills or to the range.

He isnt hugely experienced at deer stalking, but has got the first few under his belt. Including a couple he shot on a trip with me where his young eyes picked them up in the half light when mine hadnt. This slow old fella didnt get a look in, quick draw Dan managed to drop them both while i was still wondering WTF he was shooting at.

He is 22 and has his own gear, eager and willing to learn.

If anyone is keen for him to tag along with you on a hunt, so he can get to know some of the country down there, send me a PM and i can put you in touch with him.

    Cheers.

Sounds like a nice young fella, pity I can't help but I'm sure there're members down that way that would be happy to do so.
