Buck Zipper. 20 odd years old and holds a great edge and only very in-occasional sharpening

Blade steel and fit in hand is important to me. If it don’t work, it don’t work.

Gerber Gator. Not really sure how good gerber are overall, but I have to say that I really like the curved handle, sits very naturally in my hand.

the wife has one of those gerbers, its light, its comfortable but its edge holding is downright awful. made in china though. apparently the usa made ones are still pretty good

How much do you want to spend?

Purely function? Want something a bit nicer to look at also?
