    New Stainless Barrel, surface rust already...

    Hey guys rebarreled my Rem 700 stainless ( truflight barrel) about 3 months ago and its showing signs of surface rust already.. Rifle hasnt even been in the bush yet.
    Any tricks on how to arrest this problem would be much appreciated. the action is absolutely fine. I am a bit bummed as I spent ages refinishing the stock.

    I got a bag of dehumidifier beads in the safe to keep stuff dry. Had small rust specks on rings before just sitting in safe. Somehow moisture found its way in there.
    Nothing is tough about having a 70 lb bow and looking like an uncoordinated praying mantis while trying to draw it back.

    I've been brutally rough with my farm pest control stainless remy 700 222, and its never shown the slightest inclination to show rust. Must be differing quantities of nickel in the stainless brew that sees this happen ???
    Gets bore cleaned every 6 months whether it needs it or not, and 25 years later still shoots inch @100
