new Zealand big game grand slam?

Just wondering who has done this? Would be pretty sweet to get a trophy of every big game animal, im just trying to get all of the animals first.
    Just thinking what their is

    Goat
    Pig
    Red skin
    Fallow
    Sika
    White tail
    Chamois
    Tahr
    Rusa
    Sambar
    Wapiti
    Moose?

I have them up to chamois hopefully get a tahr and sambar this year. Once I bag one of each I will start on getting fussy with trophies!

    Any others for the list?

Only 2,3 and 4 for me.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

Bull tahr, chamois buck, wap bull, whitetail buck, left on the above 'to do' list. It's obvious I've never hunted the South Island right?

Oh and the only Rusa I have shot wasn't a stag so I can't really tick the Rusa box either

Many years ago a guy wrote a book about doing this. Allain Jorian or some name like that from memory.

I've shot all of those species except Moose, Whitetail & Wapiti.

But only have Red, Fallow, Rusa, Tahr, Chamois & pig trophies. For me, nothing to do with skill or experience. All about luck and just being out there doing it. You are bound to stumble over the odd good one if you live and hunt long enough.

Probably. But I think I have just been lucky. If you stumble around in the dark long enough you are bound to bump into something eventually, eh.

Why not aim for the South Pacific big game?

    Add on our big game:

Chital - Dumb as bat shit
Water Buffalo - Dumb but $$
    Banteng - $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
    Hog Deer - Good luck
