    night/thermal vision

Used both thermal and Nv gear for work. Seen plenty of animals but not used it to take them.

Yep I have used Thermal vision for work, never for hunting. I personally found that it stuffs with my depth perception,i.e. we would think things were a lot closer than they really were, go to pick it up and completely miss.

I've been using the new Pulsar Quantum HD38 Thermal Imager for a bit of pest control (rabbits and hares). Easy to spot rabbits beyond 400 metres (two rows of vines), and can spot the ones that lurk in the folliage. Makes shooting them really easy with NV scope, and also very safe, because I know exactly what is about.
