Nah, just kidding. We did climb to the tops around Molesworth but weren't just looking for water. No tarns where we were so it was down off the tops and in to the creek heads each day.
Seen 5 stags and a few hinds, along with a mob of 5 Chamois. All of the animals were in the creek heads and basins, not far from a water and decent feed source. Seems to be a fair bit of movement at night going by the amount of sign in the lower saddles on the main ridges. Apart from one stag bedded up in the scrub, all the other animals were seen in the first 2 hours after daylight and before dark. Still pretty hot and dry during the day but gettin cold at night

Shot a couple of animals for some meat with the stag in real good nick before the roar

Nice one, always a challenge hunting in the summer heat and those long days between hunts.
