Is Onewhero forest a pine forest?. If so, majority of pines land throughout the country is private land and you need to ask permission. There is nowhere to hunt in north Waikato other than the Hunuas and Kaimais. use Walking Access Mapping System to find out if where you want to go is public land and to help you see the lay of the land.
