Thread: Northern Kaimanawas

Sika are tough to pick at the best of times. Places I hunt Reds I can virtually guarantee that if I went in for 5 days I would have some good roaring action.
Sika on the other hand I would have to honestly say to knowingly get good roaring action on public land I would have to go for 14 days. Even then some years it just doesn't work out.
Just have to cover the miles and be at the right place at the right time. Can be dead quiet in one catchment, walk up and over into another one and they could be going hard.
