    Don't know what the latest figures are for hunters being shot while wearing " Blaze" but a few years ago they were quite high, even though this was kept out of the public arena.

    From memory the American stats I saw a couple of years ago said blaze made no meaningful difference to the risk of being shot. Good for helping SAR find injured people though I guess.

    I don't know if this incident involved the victim wearing blaze orange or not, but in my opinion it's dangerous in the bush. I won't wear it. Blue on other hand sticks out like dogs balls and cannot be mistaken.
