    NZDA Otago - Thanks!

I just want to put a shout out to all the volunteers at NZDA Otago that helped organise and assist with the HUNTS course that concluded last weekend with a 2 day hunt in the blue mountains. Us newbies all learnt heaps of great tips and had a blast getting into the bush (bloody hard yakka though!). Thanks to all the great instructors on course, we managed to get 6 deer and 2 pigs between the 11 on course. I managed to get my first deer on day two and I reckon I’m now hooked! Good times

Good on ya mate. It is good for the volunteers to get deserved recognition

The blue mountains offer some of the hardest deer hunting in the country. Well done on your first deer on the mountain.

Recently joined NZDA Gore branch, been hunting for quite a few years, still interested in doing a Hunts course, you're never to old to learn something new.

I was on the course aswell and also got my first deer, bloody epic weekend. The HUNTS course is an excellent service and provided so much valuable information.

My mate was on that course funnily enough.

He didn't shoot anything but loved it
