A couple of weeks ago I'd just started the walk in from the car park and a ute stopped and asked if we'd like a ride. Yes please! The guy was from Heli Sika, he dropped me right by the start of the farm land poled route. Brilliant. He mentioned that there were two dogs that had made there way south throguh Taupo down to Oamaru. Black and white dog etc. To shoot them.

I was thinking about it walking through the flats one morning thinking, "what if I see a dog? Do I shoot it?" I'd be mortified if I shot someone's dog lost over the weekend prior. That being said, if I lost a dog, I'd be posting stuff here and also print out a notice on the poled route. Another reason my pup has an e-collar, not that he needs it, but added security while hunting.

I was thinking the same I’ve done a bit of culling work for Doc/Arc on one of their farms with Fallow.
Saw a cat one evening, only 500m from the cockies house. Had the crosshairs on its chest, and 125gr .308 pill 1/2 a pound from being sent on its way.
Couldn’t pull the trigger though, kept what if it’s someone’s pet.

Was later told off, and had it made abundantly clear all cats on the farm need a bullet. No pets allowed by the staff.
