Go via poronui, will take between 3 and 4 hours probably. If I boost and don't take breaks I can do it in under 3. Its all flat too so it doesn't take much longer if you have a pack full of veni. If you do walk in from Te iringa all the way to oamaru hut you will have walked past a lot of deer on the way! PS @Nick.m be nice to scouser, he's twice your age, add a little on to your track times to make him feel better haha swing bridge in under 3 is very quick.
