Thread: October hunt

Hey team,
I have a week off next month around labour weekend and am looking to head south to see if i can pop my first red or sika. Anywhere from kaimais to kaimanawas. Would love some pointers. Have looked through DOC site and have a few ideas but seems 1080 has been dropped everywhere. If you are not a JAFFA but ever come up am happy to take you out for a spear/dive/fish or arrange one if you are happy being a bit more specific over PM. Have an old school 70 series landcruiser so can hit spots which need proper 4wd access.
