Its a Wap. As pure as you could get in NZ and a goody. Close to 50" I have seen the pic before. Maybe in one of Banwells books?

Wap , its dam near white.
Yea its an old black andwhite but compare the white of the antlers and the body. It ain't a red.

Yeah I looked at some wapiti it looks more wap. I first thought cross because the antlers looked thick unlike most of the pics I have seen of wapiti but quick look I saw some thicker antlers like that.
