It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

About 800 pounds, but I share the meat with others unable to hunt anymore, trade for red salmon fillets and strips, and make my favorite--moose spaghetti sauce--just plain divine. All but the first pic and the wagon w/meat & antlers photo I shot, dressed, carried, and butched alone. My wife comes up from Fairbanks to help, but she's smarter than me--clairvoyant too--she leaves the day before I shoot one. The last two years that's what happened, but next year I think I have a partner. He's 12 years younger than me and rarin' to go; been mighty helpful with the firewood and camp set-up.
