    Open Sights

    Thread for Animals taken with open sights - Not all that common these days.

    Here's a shitty little fallow stag i whacked with the .303 on saturday evening at about 15-20m.

    Awesome thread idea, I'm just "re-building" an opensight rifle, the Mauser Oberndorf I'm currently seeking a bolt for will remain open sights only, last ANZAC shoot I surprised myself, my 5 prone shots at 300Y with a Lee Enfield would have all dropped a deer cleanly.

    I have 11 Win 95s - from .303 to .405 win!

    It's my goal to have 50 by the time I'm 50.

    I'm 27 now, so plenty of time.
