Deer.. no such luck yet.
Wallabies - usually just whip the legs off two or three each time we're out, then tidy up and roast the whole leg, nice and easy. Feeds 2-4 depending on the size of the leg.
Goats - usually bring one or two nice young eaters home each time, using the legs for roasts and the rest of the meat for casseroles and stews etc.
Bunnies/Hares - bring the occasional one home to throw in a casserole, but usually just leave them.
Had a clean-out of the chest freezer recently and filled a box to send down to my brother.. 12kg of mixed goat and wallaby legs![]()
