Thread: Orphan fawn

Hi everyone,

I've been directed to your forum on the off chance that someone might be able to help..........

I know it's a long shot, but we've been looking for an orphan fawn to hand rear this season. We're Taupo based but happy to travel a reasonable distance for one. I know beggars can't be choosers but preference would be for a hind fawn.
I've contacted the local Landcorp deer unit, a few smaller breeders around the greater Taupo area & the local vet who does all the deer work, but no luck so far. Any help would be much appreciated.
