I've got an app on my phone called 'New Zealand Maps'.
I've created waypoints in the app which I'd like to export into a website (New Zealand Topographic Map - NZ Topo Map) via a GPX or KML file.
This is so I can make use of the 'Topo 50 map sheets' layer on the website by superimposing it over the waypoints to determine what paper Linz maps I'll need to cover all my waypoints...
...if any of that makes sense?!
The problem I'm having is that in order for a gpx or kml file to be imported into New Zealand Topographic Map - NZ Topo Map, the file link has to be made public and then altered by writing ?raw=1 at the end of it.
Dropbox no longer allows html rendering, so I've resorted to using Google Drive, but every link I paste into www.topomaps.co.nz doesn't work.
Basically, all I want is to be able to figure out which paper maps I'll need to cover a bunch of waypoints. And to my thinking, the most efficient way would be to export the waypoints into a map of nz, and then place a 'Linz paper map grid' ontop of them.
