Hey mate. That area has just been 1080'd not too long ago. If you were to head towards Rangitoto, I would try to track down a quad. I
Think the track has had a few washouts and would be unsuitable for a 4x4. Please do correct me if I'm wrong.

hence the thread to find out from those who know the area better than me I won't be taking the wagon off road driving up there would only be going as far as the actual road itself goes before beating the feet.
