    Ants try the joint supplements ie gloscosimine and condroten . Get the one tablet a day ones as opposed to 3 a day .they Work for me . Also fish oil works well with with them too .

    Hi, Tussock is right, you might also try a sports physio - search "IT bands" and see if that sounds like you

    From Wikipedia "Iliotibial band syndrome (ITBS or ITBFS, for iliotibial band friction syndrome[1]) is a common injury to the knee, generally associated with running, cycling, hiking or weight-lifting"

    IT bands run down the outside of the leg, over the outside of the knee and insert just below the knee. Friction on a little sac on the outside of the knee can cause painful inflammation. A foam roller can be used to stretch the band so it passes over the knee more easily.
