    Peaking out

    Ive got 12 nights in the Kawekas coming at me real soon. Cant wait. Then its all downhill to duck shooting.

    Yes it will be a good trip. I wanted to go for trophies but was outvoted 3 to 1 . Numbers and skins it is.

    This will be my last decent break for a little while. Wifes due in June.

    It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
    What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
    Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
    Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
    Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
    Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
    Rule 5: Check your firing zone
    Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
    Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms

    That's a solid run. My longest is 8 days in the bush, a good two-weeker would be primo!

    I did 17-18 days in the manson a few years back. Good times.

    I reckon when I finish my degree at the end of the year I should do something like that. Save up for a heli and go hard

    With that amount of time in the bush alone you would wear your willie out Phillip. And us fellah's would have to keep your librarian company.
