    Question Peel Forest Hunting

    Hi Guys

Just wondering if anyone could help me out. I'm looking at heading into the DOC land at Peel Forest and was just wondering where the best access point would be to get into some decent hunting looking for my first deer. I don't want secret spots but I also don't want to get blocked by waterfalls or vertical climbs So any info gratefully accepted.

StrikerNZ and I were in there today, plenty of sign just off the track low down along towards Emily Falls/South Ridge. Apparently has also been two school camps of five year olds through there during the week, which may have contributed to us not seeing anything

Probably better off going a we bit further savage and head to mespotamia.
Peel forest is open for hunters between may and october so as they dont clash with trampers.
Surely these ppl arnt going to go where you would be going
