You depart with mighty boasts, but you come back having done little.
Sounds like a typical hunting trip !

However, to continue with the original analogy - and this might have been the creators' of the cartoons intent - if the cats and mice can ever live in harmony with each other, the world might be a more peaceful and safe place.

It has to be drama for the camera, otherwise Discovery wouldn't touch it.

But don't get me started on his incredibly lax firearm's control

It does amaze me how urban (not all of them) society have little understanding of how the meat they all love to eat has come to the dinner plate.

Then you have friends or work colleagues that are always asking when are you going to give them some venison. My response is always if you come with me and carry half, then your entitled to half. They soon discover the real value of how hard it is to get venison if you are successful in your hunt, the time you get up, the distance you travel, the skills involved, the carry out, aging, processing.

That's the thing - I don't know where I found the time previously to sit around and do nothing for hours on end staring blankly at the box

I donot recognise Jake etc , I do Bad Cop , I use to think , TV was bad , for litle kids , too me its not , as my kids watch , kids movies , music vids & normal TV , no SKY in my house , cant afford it .

My little girl is 3 , and when she hears a new word , say on the news , the first thing she does is say that word , and Im talking large long words , not CAT , so I think , and when I saw that and them singing songs from memory , I think we should maybe give kids a bit more credit than some would at first think .

Belive it or not kids can and do learn things from watching TV , and watching their parents and others , we just need to guide them a bit along the way .
