Thermals are great and shooting will work well, as long as the country is easy. Flattish pines - fine. Steeper native - not fine. Flattish contour is great, but the minute it gets steep, scrubby, thick, forget it.
Why? is it just becasue the animals are hidden? I've never used thermals, as is obvious from the question.
