Petition to Hunt Grizz in BC

    Hey everyone,

I have been sent an online petition by my boss in Canada.
    Apparently every signature will help.
Costs nothing and all you need is name and email.

I personally am not into hunting bears but I am not against anyone else doing so.
Just thought I would post it up to help.

Cheers in advance to those that take the time.

Thanks for that. I should have mentioned it.
Yup don't have to donate. Just close and you will get an email confirming you signed.

If I recall correctly, they did a survey of like 1000 inner city people which surprise surprise showed that bear hunting wasn't favourable. Extrapolated that to the who province and politicians used it to say that the province supported the ban. Obviously more to it than that but still.

I think you are spot on from what I have been told.

Once a few more people or their pets are killed by Grizzly they will be crying out to have them hunted.

Their game managment is top notch over there. They wouldn't have had them licenced if they were under threat.

I wonder how long it will take before there are too many Grizz running around. I know Wolves are a huge problem in certain areas because of human interference.

    where do you live mate?
Certainly could have a shot if you are local.
One of the last couple of firearms that a mate on the coast is looking after for me though.
Should grab it in the next few weeks all things going ok. Haven't got any 400grainers made up but got some 340's at a choreographed 2500+fps. I had one at 2700 out of half a doz tried, but putting that down to a glitch. rest were mid 2500. Not fully loaded either from memory but did them years ago so could be wrong there.
the only 400gr I shot was one of 4 from when I bought it but it was definitely "authorative". The 340's pretty snappy too. Somewhere around 4900ft/lbs muzzle energy from my quick calc.
It starts to make my eyes bleed when you think some of the bigger ones like the 460wby and others can have twice that and actually rupture the cornea after only a few rounds. Sighting them in must be a bitch and take days lol
