No first hand experience but make sure you know where the doc boundaries are. There are a couple of deer farms up there that dont like folks poaching.

Last time i was up titan rocks would have been 10years ago tramping middle of winter and walked into a bedding down area with steam rising off the ground from a few spots just vacated by the deer

I think it's been 1080d recently, I've been there once. The bush was just open beech, sign here and there and spooked one after a big day. I didn't go back because it wasn't my cup of tea. Gets a fair bit of pressure I think.

Above the bush line is private land and the owners are pretty hot on catching poachers. Know the boundaries! As others have said has had a few doses of green rain recently. Still a lovely place to stretch the legs. Still deer kicking about if you know where to look.

I wouldn't bother, everyone just hunts there anyway. I've never got why they restrict blocks, unless you have to cross private land.

Half the harm that is done in this world is due to people who want to feel important. They don't mean to do harm-- but the harm does not interest them. Or they do not see it, or they justify it because they are absorbed in the endless struggle to think well of themselves.
