I don't see anything apart from the headline that makes that story about a hunter .... He run down and over a pig in a paddock why not call him a farmer there's a pic of him with sheep. The media using their bias to marginalize and stereotype hunters. Media are just as big fuckwits as the guy the article is about

My bad it was an SPCA guy with sheep. My comment on media still stands.... Shouldn't have been labelled hunter ....should have been labelled by his occupation like they do for others before the courts

I’d label the individual as a wanker.

I think it matters not what he is labeled as. I personally congratulate the SPCA for the prosecution. Maybe it will make the Muppets on YouTube think twice about what they post.

For sure @Maca49. If the SPCA want to see a hideously cruel death they should watch a deer die from 1080 poisoning.

so put into perspective, the person did two major things wrong...A# he filmed it and B# did not kill pig quickly.....had he stuck pig properly and not filmed it...there would be no issue.
if he hadnt filmed it,and then posted film where others could view it...no body would no about it....THIS IS EGGZACHARY what I was driving at in reguards to carcass on edge of stream.

Interesting question, a precedent has been set...

While it wasn’t an offence under the Animal Welfare Act 1999 to hunt or kill a wild animal, it must be done humanely, and in line with generally accepted practice, she warned.
I would say someone with a lawyer, video evidence, and evidence of 1080 killed wild animals would now have a very good case.

Welcome to the world of very large double standards!

(the guy was an idiot to not kill the animal quickly, AND stick it on social media. Appears there's a gene that Millenials have that can't stop them from showing the world on social media how big a fuckwit they can be)
