    Pikiawatea Hut

    Looking at this block.
    What is the hut like?
    Cooking,heating etc.

    Plenty of room for 4. Everything is there was a gas heater but Helisika were going to put a fire in. Wether they have or not in last couple of months I'm not sure

    I am past tenting,carrying a pack fly camping.

    Might look at booking it.

    No dramas mate the huts only been up there since March. Was a lot nicer sleeping in a hut after fly camping up there for the last few years. Especially with the snow we got this year. If you end up booking it I'll give you some spots to avoid/check out
