Thread: Piropiro flats 1080

Looking at heading into piropiro flats in the later end of June, would the meat be eatable that late after 1080 and any recommendations where to find some goats in there? Or advice on another spot to go if it's to soon after the 1080 dump heading down from Auckland

I went for a walk Wednesday along the kete track. Plenty of deer still in the pureoras. No sign of any pellets left over that I could see. I was trying to find stags, personally just going to wait another month or two before taking animals for meat

À mate of mine found 7 dead carcasses during his roar peregrinations around piropiro, but yes there are still some animal up there, maybe just not so many.

So you recon next month is no good to go for meat.
Any where near by you would recommend to go for a look instead?

If the ones who drop it say wait 6months I'll wait 6months. Anywhere going for a walk is a good time in my opinion which probably isn't very helpful

That's a good point might have to jump over Clements mill again or somewhere around there
