I believe I have. Post #38 and 43. They are quite clear. Mistakes and accidents happen. even the best planning can go awry. It's sensible to include a PLB as part of that planning for yourself and for others.
Skiting that you dont need one is not sensible.
Telling people who have got lost or had an accident, and that are speaking from experience, when you admit you havnt had that experience yourself, is not sensible or good advice.
@Twodiffs - Speaking for myself I am being blunt, but that's not impolite, and nothing I have said is insulting or profane. Probably 90+% of my interactions with Mr Duxbury over the last 20 odd years has been positive.

But in this particular case Im disagreeing with his opinion and his manor in putting it across. I believe that's suitable behaviour for a forum.
