1. A trial using NONTOXIC deer repellent (PRODEER) is about to begin close to Halfmoon Bay.
2. Poisoning of approximately 40,000 ha around the main dotterel breeding area in southern Rakiura is proposed to commence in winter. ZIP propose to use deer reppellent over the part of the hunting bllocks inside the target area.

I presume they are still going to drop poison all over the top of huts and water supplies.
But don’t worry, it’s safe and we will clean the spouting.

My guess would be those hungry little suckers will eat every bait they can, repellent or not
